Shadows head coach Garret Glasrud said, “It was good to get more game     experience for the playoffs”. Glasrud added, “We were able to get our game plan for Kindersley ironed out”. He stated, “I’m really proud of our team’s play this season”.

The final league standings were Lumsden Devils (5-1), Shaunavon Shadows (5-1), Indian Head Broncs (3-3), Maple Creek Redmen (2-4) and Fort Qu’Appelle Marauders (0-6). The Devils were awarded first place on the basis of points for and against in head-to-head play with the Shadows.

The local squad would face either the Humboldt Mohawks or Foam Lake Panthers on November 8 provided they win their quarter-final contest against the Kobras. The  provincial nine-man football final is scheduled for Saturday, November 15.
